Tours and Activities
Boodjamulla (Lawn Hill) National Park (including Lawn Hill Gorge), Riversleigh World Heritage area are closed to the end of 2023.
Due the closures our organised activities – boat cruises, fossil tours & canoes will not be running within these closed areas. Updates on National Park closure can be found on the QLD Parks website. Guests are not confined to our grounds, some people will be doing their own walks & fishing and Canoes will be available to hire for use in the Lawn Hill Creek
All activities are booked & paid whilst at Wugudaji-Adels Grove, guests staying at Wugudaji-Adels Grove will have priority.

Lawn Hill Gorge
Solar powered 2 hour boat trip : $80 per adult / $50 for kids until 16 y-o.
Travel aboard Wugudaji-Adels Grove’s solar electric powered pontoon boat on the Lawn Hill Gorge. The Pontoon can take 8-10 people. Bookings are essential and may be made with the staff at Reception whilst at Adels (minimum numbers apply).
Lawn Hill Creek At Wugudaji Adels Grove
Solar powered 1 hour boat trip : $40 per adult / $25 for kids until 16 y-o.
Travel aboard a solar electric powered pontoon boat on the Lawn Hill Creek at Wugudaji-Adels Grove. The Pontoon can take 8-10 people. Bookings are essential and may be made with the staff at Reception whilst at Wugudaji-Adels Grove (minimum numbers apply).
Riversleigh (Miyumba) Fossil Field
4WD trip to Riversleigh Fossils D site with a picnic and Champagne at Riversleigh Station (around 5 hours trip, 8 seats) :
$120 per adult / kids under 16 : $80.
This area is part of The Australian Fossil Mammal Site (Riversleigh/Miyumba) World Heritage Boodjamulla (Lawn Hill) National Park. The World Heritage Area is in the south-eastern section of the National Park and covers 10,000ha. It is the richest fossil mammal site in the world. Riversleigh’s D Site is the only area open to the public. Bookings are essential and may be made with the staff at Reception whilst at Wugudaji-Adels Grove (minimum numbers apply).
Lawn Hill Gorge / Lawn Hill Creek at Wugudaji-Adels Grove – Canoes
Canoes are available for hire from reception. We have single, double & triple canoes and they are hired out on a 2 hourly basis, from $30 for a single canoe, $60 for a double and $90 for a triple canoe.
A deposit is required.
Lawn Hill Gorge – Bus Trip
Bus trip from Wugudaji-Adels Grove to the Gorge and return: Leaves hourly, $15 for adults, $10 for kids under 16 y-o.
